  • Document upload and storage

  • OCR and translation features (Pro plan)
  • Collaboration and sharing tools

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must:

  • Be at least 16 years of age
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your password
  • Accept responsibility for all activity under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Upload illegal, harmful, or infringing content
  • Violate intellectual property rights of others
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or access the Service’s underlying code
  • Use automated tools to scrape or extract data beyond normal use
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service’s operation
  • Share account credentials or resell access
  • Upload malware, viruses, or malicious code

5. Subscription Plans and Billing

5.1 Plans

  • Free Plan: Limited features as described on our pricing page
  • Pro Plan: Subscription-based with monthly or annual billing
  • Enterprise Plan: Custom pricing for large organizations

5.2 Billing

  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled
  • You authorize recurring charges to your payment method
  • Price changes will be communicated 30 days in advance
  • No refunds for partial months or unused features

5.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you retain access until the end of your billing period. After that, your account reverts to the Free plan.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Your Content

You retain all rights to documents and content you upload (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited license to process Your Content solely to provide the Service.

6.2 Our Service

The Service, including its design, features, code, and trademarks, is owned by FilePilot AI and protected by intellectual property laws.

7. AI-Generated Content

Important disclaimers about AI-generated answers:

  • Answers are generated by AI and may contain errors
  • You are responsible for verifying accuracy before relying on answers
  • We provide citations to help you verify information
  • Do not use the Service for life-or-death decisions without human review
  • We are not liable for decisions made based on AI-generated content

8. Data Privacy and Security

We take data security seriously. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. By using the Service, you acknowledge:

  • You are responsible for backing up important documents
  • We are not liable for data loss due to circumstances beyond our control
  • You should not upload documents containing highly sensitive information without proper risk assessment

9. Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may:

  • Temporarily suspend service for maintenance
  • Modify or discontinue features with notice
  • Impose usage limits to ensure fair access

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

  • You violate these Terms
  • Your account has been inactive for 2+ years (Free plan)
  • Required by law or regulatory authority
  • Payment fails repeatedly

Upon termination, you may export your data for 30 days before permanent deletion.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FILEPILOT AI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FilePilot AI from any claims arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.

14. Governing Law
